The beginning of the year has been marked by several announcements about the imposition of tariffs by the USA on products imported from various countries. Some of them, such as Colombia, Mexico and Canada, managed to reach quick agreements that annulled - or at least postponed -the taxation. Others, such as China, have announced reciprocal tariffs to combat American measures.
